Oldfield House is a former Victorian Gentlemen's house providing high quality Bed and Breakfast accommodation in Windermere with doubles, a twin, single rooms and a flexible family room sleeping up to 4.

Each bedroom is decorated to a high standard with high quality bed linen, flat screen LCD TV, DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer and radio alarm clock. Bathrooms include the latest shower technology with complimentary toiletries and luxurious Egyptian cotton towels. Rooms are decorated regularly to ensure they are kept fresh and clean so every guest can enjoy their stay.

Found on the first and second floors, there are two premier king size double rooms which catch the sun. There are 2 en-suite double bedrooms on the second floor one with bath and the other with a shower. The family room is flexible sleeping a family of 2 adults and 2 children but can also be used as a triple, double or twin room for adults. There is one twin room and two single bedrooms ideal for single travellers.

If you are planning a stay for a special occasion and would like a flower arrangement and handmade chocolates in your room it can be arranged.

Cooked to order you can enjoy a hearty full English breakfast made with fresh locally sourced produce including award winning Cumberland sausages, locally cured bacon and free range eggs. If you'd prefer something lighter there is smoked salmon with scrambled egg on a muffin, croissants, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, teas and coffees. Occasionally we he have Quails eggs, treacle bacon and baby tomatoes, Continental style meat and cheese platter. There are vegetarian alternatives and if you have any special dietary requirements just let us know and we'll happily cater for you. A children's menu for ages 3-12 is also available for children sharing with adults.

If you are unsure of what to see and do in the Lake District there is local information available in the guests' lounge including books and guides with Lake District attractions. Packed lunches and flask fills can be provided if you are planning a busy day.

Oldfield House B&B is non-smoking and set in a quiet location but within easy walking distance of Lake Windermere. There is also off road parking.
