There are nine cottages on Doxford Farm which is a 500 acre working farm situated amidst undulating, unspoilt, wooded countryside. The lake and its small ponds hold brown trout and our visitors are welcome to fish free of charge by arrangement.

North Northumberland is abundantly supplied with places of interest. Dotted along the heritage coastline are the historic border castles of Warkworth, Dunstanburgh, Bamburgh and Lindisfarne found on Holy Island. In land there are many more castle such as Alnwick (Home to Harry Potter), Norham and Chillingham, also accessible are the great houses of Cragside and Wallington which are open to the public all year round, also the recently built Alnwick Gardens which are flourishing as it enters its final phases.

Travelling North
Bypass Alnwick.
Five miles north of Alnwick take a right turn, the B6347 by a large square farmhouse on your right.
Follow the B6347 for about 2 miles and take a left to Doxford Farm.
Alternatively, follow the brown and white signs to Doxford Country Store (our farm shop!) Collect keys at the shop and have a complimentary cup of coffee.
Travelling South
Bypass Belford.
Four miles south of Belford you will come to a dual carriageway.
Continue south to the end of the dual carriageway and one mile south take a left turn onto the B6347 by a large square farmhouse on your right.
Follow the B6347 for about 2 miles and take a left to Doxford Farm.
Alternatively, follow the brown and white signs to Doxford Country Store (our farm shop!) Collect keys at the shop and have a complimentary cup of coffee.

Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
All cottages are well equipped with electric cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, fridge freezers and microwaves. There is a communal washing room equipped with an additional washing machine and tumble dryer. All linen is provided but we ask you to bring your own towels (excluding Dairy Maids and Farmhouse Annexe). Electricity is supplied by a pound coin meter, found above each front door (excluding Dairy Maids and Farmhouse Annexe). The cottages have a private water supply from a natural spring and parking is available adjacent to each cottage.
