Somerset Self-Catering provides the ideal accommodations to suit the needs of guests. With 3 to choose from, we can accommodate guests with children and those with pets.
Garden Cottage:
Garden Cottage is the ideal getaway for those looking for a romantic setting with picturesque views of the countryside. This 4 star accommodation is newly built and can accommodate 2 people in the double room with further beds available in the lounge (sofa bed and fold away bed). The double bedroom has en-suite bathroom, lounge with open fire, hi-fi, television, piano, separate shower room, kitchen, gas central heating, oak floors and books, games and CDs for your enjoyment.
The Cottage is overlooks the stunning countryside with large private decking area and access to 6 acres of private grounds including fields and woodland. By arrangement, access is available to the indoor heated swimming pool in the adjacent stone barn. The location of Garden Cottage is just 10 minutes from Taunton and only 5 minutes from the M5. Pets are not allowed in this accommodation unfortunately and it is non-smoking.
Stoke Hill Studio:
Stoke Hill Studio is a barn conversion in a rural setting perfect for 2 with or without children. 3 stars, the Studio sleeps two in the main room with further beds available for 2 children – single bed and fold away mattress. There is a large living area with lounge, television, small kitchen, shower room, gas central heating and books, games and CDs.
The Studio also has access to the indoor heated pool by arrangement and 6 acres of private grounds. Again, just 10 minutes from Taunton and 5 minutes from the M5. Pets are welcome at this property (£12/wk).
Old School House:
The Old School House is a 4 star property retaining the charm and character of the converted Victorian School House. Situated in an ancient Saxon Village, the house contains the cast iron spiral staircase, original timbers, leaded windows and stripped pine and brick floor. Sleeping 4-5 in double and twin rooms, it is perfect for small groups of family or friends.
There are 2 double rooms with bathroom containing bath and shower. The lounge has a wood burning stove and television, gas central heating, kitchen, pine floors and various books, games and CDs.
The Old School House is in a small village just 15-20 minutes from Taunton and the M5. Pets are allowed in this property (£12/wk/pet) and this is a non-smoking property.
