There are a number of good golf courses in the area and various towns in the surrounding area: Waltham is just a mile away with supermarkets, post office, takeaways and pubs and restaurants where you can get a delicious meal at the Tuscany Restaurant or a drink at The Old Railway Carriage.
Grimsby is 10 minutes away with numerous shops at Freshney Place or Abbeygates Centres. Discover the history of fishing in the area at The Fishing Heritage. Both Grimsby and Cleethorpes have railway stations for easy access to the area. Cleethorpes itself is a seaside town 10-12 minutes away with many attractions and shops. You can have a lovely meal at one of the restaurants or a drink from a wine bar or pub.
Louth and Horncastle are ideal for those with interests in antiques and Humberside Airport is 12 miles away.
Bikes are available for hire and there are many cycle routes in the area from Hull to Harwich and walkers can discover all the Lincolnshire Wolds and East Coast have to offer.
Those staying in the Bungalows have an on site shop and are just a few minutes from the beach. North Sea Lane caters for every need with fish and chip shop, supermarket, paper shop, entertainment and more. A walk along the beach will take you to Pleasure Island, Leisure Centre, pier and Cleethorpes centre where you can find a Bowling Alley and McDonalds. If you are looking to relax, have a picnic on the beach and fly a kite or watch the ships sailing past.

Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
Set in 40 acres of farm land, Prospect Farm offers guests private well kept grounds and safe parking. The 4 cottages surround the courtyard and are all fully equipped with all you need to enjoy your stay.
With 2 bedrooms in each cottage, guests can find the cottage to suit their needs. Honeysuckle Cottage has a double and a twin room. Rose Cottage contains a double and single bedroom while Wisteria has a double bedroom downstairs and twin bedroom upstairs. Each of these cottages has a bathroom with power shower, toilet and wash basin. Clematis is suitable for disabled guests with a single and a twin room. The wet room contains a power shower, toilet and wash basin and all 4 cottages come supplied with luxury toiletries, towels and bed linen for your convenience.
Decorated to a high standard, each kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, extractor fan, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, washer/dryer and food processor as well as crockery and cutlery. Relax in the lounge in front of the television or watch one of the supplied videos. There's a radio, CD player and cassette player, selection of books and magazines and tourist information to help you make the most of your trip. To welcome you to the cottage you'll find fresh flowers, tea, coffee and a homemade cake (milk will be in the fridge).
Make the most of the weather out on the patio where you'll find a gas or charcoal barbeque for your own use. If you enjoy fishing, you can use the private well stocked fishing pond and take a walk around the grounds.
The Bungalows are situated by the sea at the south end of Cleethorpes in a Heritage site called The Fitties. Number 1 can sleep 6 people in the 3 bedrooms (2 double and 1 bunk) with cot and high chair available on request. There's a fully equipped kitchen and all linen and towels are supplied with heated supplied from the central heating and coal fire.
No 38 can sleep 4 people in the double and twin room with extra bedding in the form of the sofa bed. The bathroom doesn't have disabled facilities but there is a ramp at the backdoor suitable for wheelchairs. There's electricity for the cooking with washing machine, fridge, cooker and microwave in the kitchen. There's oil central heating from the stove in the lounge and the bathroom has a power shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Spend time out on the patio area at the back of the bungalow. Dogs are allowed in this property.
No 60 has a double and twin room with double glazing and central heating to keep the place warm. There's a bathroom and lounge/kitchen with views from the conservatory at the front.
