The accommodation comprises 5 centrally heated en-suite rooms and each is tastefully furnished with many extras including tea/coffee making facility, colour television, hairdryer, mini fridge, trouser press, radio/alarm clock. If required a cot and high chair are available.
After a good nights sleep an extensive breakfast is provided catering for all diets and many friendships are made over breakfast whilst planning the day ahead.
As we are on a main bus route there are numerous buses to take you to and from the the City Centre, approx 3 miles away, a journey of about 10 minutes. Whether travelling by road, rail or air we are ideally situated some 4 miles from both Edinburgh Airport and Edinburgh Waverley Station and if coming by road, private parking is available. Exact directions on how to get here, including bus numbers and directions by road, can be provided on request or when booking. We are in close proximity to several Golf Courses, Edinburgh Zoo, Royal Botanical Gardens and Murrayfield Rugby Stadium.
Ideal for the tourist, Acer Lodge can be used to visit the beautiful city of Edinburgh or as a base to explore other regions of the country. We can arrange day tours to other parts of Scotland on your behalf with pick up and drop off from outside the Guest House. Pleae ask for details when booking.
