Lodge Description

With seventeen lodges sleeping 1 to 6 people in 1 to 3 bedrooms there is something for everyone. In four different styles, the lodges are self contained and provide all the modern comforts you require to enjoy a homely stay. Linen is provided and there are en-suite facilities and fully fitted kitchens. Dishwashers can be found in the Conifer and Ash Lodges and electric cooker, microwave, water heater and appliances in each.

When you have time to relax, the living and dining room has colour television with Sky FreeSat TV channels. Each chalet has its own charm and there are spectacular views over the countryside.

Conifer Lodges sleep 6 in 3 rooms with views over Loch Feochan, Ash Lodges are suitable for 4 with double and twin rooms, Beech Lodges sleep 3 in a double and single and Poplar Lodges are suitable for 2 in a King size double bed.

There is also a range of Self Catering Cottages available sleeping 6 to 10 people. Each of them have recently been refurbished and have Sky FreeSat TV channels.

Pitstruan is a spacious home in private grounds. Sleeping 10 people, it's right next to the Loch so you can sit and enjoy the view while watching the local wildlife. There are 4 bedrooms each with king size beds and the lounge has a log fire so you can keep warm during the colder months.

Tigh Beg Croft sleeps 6 people and has no fences so you are free to discover the surrounding area. Decorated to a very high standard we hope that all our guests will relax and unwind with the area famous with films previously being shot here. While the views are of unspoilt countryside, it's only 6 miles from Oban but secluded enough to offer privacy and tranquillity.

Ardentallen Farmhouse has retained the characteristics of the old farmhouse and sleeps 7 people. The rooms are spacious with extremely large lounge with open log fire, reading lounge, BBQ with outdoor seating and a large garden which is safe for children to explore. It's just a stones throw from the Loch so there's usually a lot of wildlife and birds to spot.

Millstone House is close to Oban with views over Lerag Glen. There are private grounds and picturesque views out over the loch so you can relax whatever the season. Sleeping 10 people in 4 bedrooms they are again large with spacious lounge. There's a log fire and night storage heating and outside you can enjoy a barbeque on the decking.

Local Attractions

Oban is a town with many attractions and is unofficially known as the capital of the West Highlands. With a great variety of shops and restaurants, you are sure to find something you enjoy in this harbour town.

Families can spend the day at the Oban Seal Sanctuary which has touch pools, Atlantis Leisure Centre where you can have a go on the water slides, the Oban War & Peace Museum or the Oban Rare Breeds Park. With golf courses nearby, visitors can also have a shot at horse riding or water sport enthusiasts can try out canoeing, sub-aqua diving, sea angling or just take a peaceful cruise or boat trip.

Travel by ferry to the nearby isles of the Inner Hebrides which include Mull where you'll find Tobermory also known as Balamory to kids, Kerrera, Lismore, Coll, Colonsay, Tiree and Iona.

Walkers will find many places to discover the countryside and hill walkers have the choice of several Munros. The Falls of Lora are Europe's only seawater falls and there's the ruins of Dunollie Castle, Ardchattan Priory and Connel Bridge – replica of the Forth Bridge.
