Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
Sinnington Common Farm is a charming working family farm with 135 acres, and offers both Bed and Breakfast and self-catering holiday cottage accommodation. The farm is set in beautiful countryside on the edge of the North Yorkshire moors in Ryedale.
We have many farmyard animals including goats, pet Dexter cattle, poultry, coloured, Haflinger and Appaloosa horses, donkey, pot-bellied pig, friendly cats, ewes and lambs with pet lambs to feed at certain times of the year. Many of the animals are rescue animals and guests are welcome to interact with them. Pets are welcome and there is a farm walk round our short coppice willows with lots of wildlife to see including foxes, hares, roe deer, curlews, partridge, skylarks, lapwings and pheasant to name but a few.
Our luxury bungalow sleeps up to 6 with two en-suite bedrooms, a modern spacious kitchen and large private garden. The small cottages sleep up to 4 and are tastefully furnished in pine and cane. The pine lodge and log cabin both sleep 4 and have two bedrooms and two bathrooms.
The area has an abundance of pubs and restaurants serving good quality food and is central for many attractions. Within easy reach of the East Coast towns of Scarborough and Whitby and the historic City of York.
