Exit the M6 at Junction 36 joining the A591. On entering Windermere turn left following the signs for the town centre. Continue through the one way system and take the first left after the clock tower for Queens Drive then the first right onto Sunny Bank Road.
Braemount House is 50 metres ahead on the left hand side. There is private car parking available on both sides of the house.

At Braemount Guest House you will be warmly welcomed to the traditional Victorian house with complimentary tea and cake or wine and nibbles. Carefully converted the four star guest house has retained much of its original charm and character with modern conveniences to make the most of your stay in Windermere.
Each room has been individually decorated and furnished to the highest standard providing en-suite facilities, colour television, DVD player, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, CD clock radio and visitors guide. The ground floor super king size bed can be separated to be used as a twin room.
The loft suite will sleep up to 3 and has its own bathroom with shower over bath and lounge with sofa enjoying views over Bowness to Lake Windermere. For something special there are also 4 Poster bedrooms perfect for a romantic break in Cumbria each with bath and shower and bath robes.
Sparkling wine, champagne, basket of flowers, hostess bouquets and chocolates can also be ordered for those special occasions and we'll be happy to help with any other requests you may have.
To help set you up for the day you can enjoy a delicious full English breakfast or scrambled egg and smoked salmon. Vegetarian and lighter alternatives are available. If the weather is good you can even enjoy breakfast served on the terrace.
Windermere Manor Leisure Club is just 10 minutes walk from the Guest House where guests can use the facilities on offer including the swimming pool, sauna and gymnasium.
Children over 10 are very welcome at the Guest House. Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate pets. No smoking is permitted in Braemount House but guests are welcome to smoke in the garden.
