On arrival, you will be personally welcomed to the hotel and shown to your luxury bedroom where you can enjoy the peace and quiet in 8 acres of landscaped grounds, the spacious rooms, elegant public rooms and award winning food.

There are 17 bedrooms at the hotel ranging from the Regal Suite to deluxe and standard rooms. There is a lift to all floors of the hotel, rooms with canopied or four poster beds for a romantic retreat and those enjoying panoramic views of the grounds to the forest and River Cree meandering to Wigtown Bay. Room 25 is also suitable for disabled guests with double or twin beds. Each room is spacious with fresh fruit and sherry to welcome you. There is satellite television, sitting area, tea and coffee making facilities and fluffy bathrobes and towels. We welcome pets at Kirroughtree with lower ground rooms providing easy access to the grounds.

Unwind in the lounges which have been carefully restored with opulent sofas and armchairs. Relax with morning coffee, afternoon tea, pre dinner drinks and canapés while you decide on your evening meal. After dinner you can wind down with a liqueur, coffee, petit fours or fine cognac over conversation or game of bagatelle.

At Kirroughtree there is an award winning restaurant serving dishes made with the finest local ingredients including Mull of Galloway lobster, Kirroughtree venison and Cairnsmore cheese. After your main meal you can treat yourself to a mouth watering dessert and wines from around the world to compliment your meal. Vegetarian dishes are available and we'll be happy to cater to any special dietary requirements.

Make the most of the sunny weather and relax on the terrace with a glass of wine enjoying the picturesque views. You can even have a game of croquet or pitch and putt on the lawn.

Kirroughtree Country House Hotel offers the perfect location for private functions, weddings and celebrations. You can enjoy full use of the facilities and grounds, reserving the hotel for a day or longer. There is a minimum of 20 guests required.
