With over 200km of waterways to explore, you will find something of interest from the nature and wildlife along the way to historic towns and plenty of shopping and places to eat.
At the east coast you have Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft with quality golden beaches, shops, restaurants, nature reserves, windmills, churches and craft centres. At the River Yare you'll find Norwich with its Cathedral, Norman castle, museums, theatres, market place and shopping centre. Boating events include the Regatta or there are numerous local carnivals and fetes on land to discover. You will find places to hire bikes and go walking which will give you the chance to explore the area or just enjoy a relaxing day fishing.

With over 35 years experience, Barnes Brinkcraft want to ensure you have the perfect break in the Norfolk Broads if you would rather stay in one of the boats or lodges they have available. Whether you are looking for a week long holiday or short break of 3 to 4 days, there will be something to suit your needs and sleeping arrangements.
The 35 types of boats available range from 3 to 5 stars for a high quality comfortable stay, sleep between 2 and 12 and include a range of facilities to help you make the most of your holiday.
The Brinks Concerto Class includes LCD TV, CD player and radio, cook up a delicious meal in the kitchen area with cooker, microwave and large fridge and the duel steering helps you manoeuvre the boat with ease. The Symphony Class is a perfect family boat with sheltered sunbathing, warm air heating and CD player and radio. A full range of crockery, utensils and glassware are provided with each boat along with bed linen – you will need to bring your own towels. The number of bathrooms can vary with up to 3 including toilet and shower and there are some with baths.
Barnes Brinkcraft has a range of lodges available in the Norfolk Broads including:
• Daisy Broad Lodges – the 4 lodges available each have a 4 star high quality rating and are situated next to the river. In an upside down style, the upstairs open plan living, kitchen and dining area is spacious with a balcony so you can relax with views over the river. Bedrooms on the ground floor consist of 2 double en-suite shower rooms and 2 twin rooms with a separate bathroom. The lodges can sleep up to 10 in each and Grebe and Coot include an interconnecting door for larger groups of 20. There's central heating, colour TV, video, washing machine, fridge/freezer, balcony seating, lawn and barbeque. Bed linen and towels are included, there's parking space for 2 cars and up to 2 dogs are welcome.
• The Sail Loft Apartments – In the heart of the Broadlands National Park, the Sail Loft Apartments are a riverside development with a high quality 4 star rating and added benefit of a motor launch for most of the year. These luxurious lodges, of which there are 5, include sleeping for 8 to 9, linen supplied, central heating, TV, DVD player, mini hi-fi, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, stair gate, hairdryer, parking for 2 cars, sundeck with furniture, mooring for motor launch, free lifejackets, fishing from the property, en-suite bedrooms, spacious kitchen/dining rooms, 1 dog welcome in each lodge and not forgetting the stunning views over the riverside.
• Boathouse Lodges – are new for 2008 and sleep between 4 and 8. Also built to a very high standard, the lodges are by the River Bure within the boatyard and offer free motor launch between 1st September and 18th July. In an upside down style the sitting area is open plan with doors to the furnished balcony and the picturesque river views. 2 dogs are welcome, there's parking for 2 cars at Waterside and 1 car at River's Edge and River's View. Features include central heating, TV, DVD player, mini hi-fi, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, cot, high-chair and linen included.
