Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
Abernethy has been restored to retain the features of the original Victorian house including the natural wooden floors and original fireplaces but with the comfort of guests in mind. Centrally heated throughout, the lounge can be found on the first floor and a great place to gather with friends and family on the comfortable sofas while watching the flat screen TV, DVD or listening to a CD in front of the fireplace.
The house includes 5 bedrooms and 3 shower rooms with WC and wash basin. The second floor has 2 double/twin rooms and a third with single bed under a double bunk bed, the first floor has a double bedroom and the ground floor, one room with 2 sets of bunk beds making it suitable for 4. Linen and bedding are provided for everyone except in the travel cot which is available with high chair but guests are asked to bring towels.
You can cook a delicious meal for everyone in the fully equipped kitchen and utility room with large fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, range cooker (gas over electric) with crockery, cutlery and utensils provided. Adjacent to the kitchen, meals can be served in the dining room on the large table suitable for 12.
With weekend, mid-week and full week breaks available and suitable for a range of guests including large families, groups of friends and tourists or business guests you are sure to find the perfect self catering break at Abernethy. Guests though are asked not to disturb neighbours, especially during the late evenings and early mornings as Abernethy is situated in a peaceful area.
