B&B / Guest House Description
Dating back to the early 19th century, Bluebell House is an ex-coaching inn now offering a variety of rooms, each decorated to a high standard with a touch of class for an extra special stay.
With a 4 star rating you can be assured of a high quality room and service with each room including TV, hairdryer, trouser press, iron, tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities, fridge (with icebox) and toaster. There are en-suite facilities within Ascot, Windsor and Garden rooms while Tap and Summer rooms share a bathroom.
For a romantic or special occasion, Ascot Room has a four poster bed and is spacious enough for an additional z-bed or cot. Windsor Room too can accommodate an extra bed or cot and can either be used as a six foot double or a twin room with picturesque views over the garden. Garden Room has access straight out into the garden and is bright and airy and tastefully decorated.
Tap and Summer Rooms are both on the ground floor and can be linked to create a suite with 2 twin rooms. Tap Room forms part of the original beer cellar with a cosy den feel and Summer Room has retained the original inglenook fireplace with French windows to the patio and garden. Summer and Tap rooms can be used separately and share a bathroom.
There are tables and chairs within each room for guests to enjoy a continental breakfast within the privacy of their rooms and at a time to suit you.
Hosts Barbara and Timothy Martin look forward to welcoming all guests to Bluebell House.
