From the A1 (South or North): Exit the motorway at Junction 62 for Sunderland/Durham and turn right onto the A690. Follow the A690 passing Houghton-le-spring and after 6 miles turn left onto the A19 leaving the A19 at Junction Sunderland North. Turn onto the A1231 eastwards following signs for the National Glass Centre/Stadium of Light and from the Stadium of Light follow signs to the National Glass Centre in direction of Roker on the A183. Follow this road after the National Glass Centre to the seafront and take the first road on the left which is St George's Terrace.
