Nestled into the side of the valley, along a quiet Cornish lane, Polmena House Bed & Breakfast offers a relaxing break in Cornwall. There are two double ensuite bedrooms with picturesque views,(bath and separate walk-in shower), comfortable seating, luxurious hotel-quality beds, flat screen TVs, tea and coffee making facilities and hairdryer,free Wi-Fi on request. We welcome children over the age of 10.
The Balcony Suite is very large room with its own lounge area and balcony overlooking the River Fowey. This room can be used as either a six foot super king double or a twin. The Paddock Room is an attractive double room with views over Lostwithiel and Restormel Castle a mile in the distance.

Enjoy an Aga cooked breakfast in the morning served in the dining room. We use as much local produce as possible.

Make use of the Guest Lounge and enjoy the views over the 3/4 acre garden or watch the colour TV. There's also a guest fridge and many books to browse. If you're unsure of what to do during your stay there's local information to give you a few ideas.

There is ample parking on the gravel drive. No smoking is allowed in the house.

Polmena House Bed and Breakfast is ideally located close to many of Cornwall's attractions. Within easy reach are the Lost Gardens of Heligan and the National Trust Lanhydrock House and Gardens. The Eden Project is just 6 miles away and the Daphne Du Maurier Festival held at Fowey Harbour is close by.

Boconnoc House is popular for weddings with its surrounding estate and the venue for Cornwall Garden Society Cornwall Spring Flower Show taking place in April. Twenty minutes walk away is St Winnow church and a pathway leading through Ethy Wood to the village of Lerryn.

Relax on the sandy beaches of Lantic Bay and Lansallos just 20 minutes away or go golfing at the 18 hole courses: Lostwithiel Golf and Country Club and Lanhydrock Golf Club. Lostwithiel is a historic town and the antiques capital of Cornwall. Travel further afield to the Falmouth Maritime Museum and the Tate Gallery at St Ives.
