Situated in Sparkford Village, you can visit the famous Haynes International Motor Museum, the Royal Naval Air Station at Yeovilton, the Fleet Air Museum or visit Dorset for the market town of Sherbourne Castle and Abbey.
The area offers many leisure facilities including swimming, sailing, horse riding, ten pin bowling, cycle and walking routes, steam railways, multi-screen cinema, golf, fishing, paint ball, quad biking, clay pigeon shooting, castles, National Trust houses and gardens and car shows. A variety of wildlife can also be seen on the Park and surrounding area.
Within driving distance are the attractions Stonegenge, Wookey Hole Caves, Cheddar Gorge, Glastonbury Tor and Abbey, Wells Cathedral, Clarks Village and the Dorset Heritage Coastline.

Holiday Park Description
Situated in the North West edge of Sparkford, Somerset, Long Hazel Park offers the perfect place to stay with very high standard landscaping for a relaxing break. Open all year round the park is accessible in all weather and suitable for even the largest American RVs and articulated vehicles.
The park is licensed for 75 motor homes, caravans and tents and 15 pine lodges. The level pitches are on gravel hard standings with neatly cut lawns between each, 16 amp electric hook up and some with their own water supply and drain. There is parking on the pitch for your convenience. Awnings should be pitched on the gravel and tent pitches are sheltered on well drained, neatly cut lawns partly screened by trees but also gravel parking nearby. Many of the tent pitches have access to 16 amp electric hook up points.
Complimentary hot showers and a washing up room with hot and cold water, chemical disposal, coin operated washing machine and tumble dryer and waste recycling area are available at the toilet/shower block. There is a separate heated wet room suite in the toilet block is accessible by wheelchair with shower and shower seat, wash hand basin and WC with wheelchair transfer bar. There is ramped access with grab rails throughout and opened via a key which can be supplied.
For self catering accommodation in Somerset, there is a hand built solid pine lodge available for hire. The lodge has been adapted for wheelchair users and carers sleeping up to 5 adults with a large bedroom with double and single bed. The lounge seating converts into a second king size double bed. The large bathroom has a low access shower with shower seat, wash hand basin and WC. Access to the lodge is by ramp and spacious decking with parking immediately outside. Dogs are not permitted in the self catering accommodation except guide dogs and trained assistance dogs.
There is good mobile network coverage and TV reception including Sky TV. WiFi broadband access is available from Reception for a small charge.
We welcome pets for a small charge and they must be kept on a short lead at all times and exercised off the Park. There is a recreation area and picnic tables in the Park and barbeques can be set up with prior permission.
There is no shop on site but the village Inn with restaurant is just 100 yards to the left. 400 yards to the right offers a 24 hour Spar shop, Esso Garage and McDonalds. Sparkford is just ¼ mile away.
