Ideally located between Bideford and Clovelly, Yeo Vale House Bed and Breakfast provide the perfect base from which to explore the North Devon Coastline and all the attractions Dartmoor and Exmoor have to offer.
The fishing village of Clovelly has charm and character with steep cobbled streets down to the harbour. Bideford, a medieval market town, is just 4 miles away by the River Torridge with its own Pannier Market. Appledore has a history of ship building, shops and art galleries or there is the RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Tapeley Manor, Hartland Point and Dartington Crystal.
For surfers there is Bude, Croyde Bay, Saunton Sands, Woolacombe Bay, Westward Ho! And Lynmouth all nearby. If you enjoy walking there are many local paths leading with views of the Devon hills and Atlantic Ocean or for the more adventurous the North Devon Coastal Path and the Tarka Trail. Cyclists too can make the most of the Tarka Trail and hire cycles in Bideford, Barnstaple and Great Torrington.
Take a boat trip from Bideford to Ludy Island which lies 12 miles from the mainland and a haven for seals and puffins.

From the M5, exit at Junction 27 heading towards Barnstaple on the A361. From Barnstaple head towards Bideford on the A39 and passing Bideford over the Torridge Bridge, keep on the A39. After two roundabouts take a left to Woodtown and then almost immediately turn right signposted Woodtown. From here Yeo Vale House is 1 ½ miles away.
Follow the country lane to the T-Junction and keep left following the lane downhill. At the bottom of the hill you will come to Yeo Vale (not signposted). You will see a Dairy Farm on your right and a sign on the tree saying Yeo Vale Herd. Turn immediately left into the narrow lane opposite the farmyard and carry on up this lane to Yeo Vale House on your left.

Yeo Vale House is a small family run Bed & Breakfast in North Devon offering a personal and homely service with a warm welcome. The bedrooms include Clovelly, a large en-suite (bath and shower attachment) double bedroom and Appledore a double bedroom with private facilities. Both are well appointed with central heating, remote control colour TV, tea and coffee making facilities, small fridge, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. Complimentary toiletries are provided and towels with daily room servicing.
With tables and chairs outdoors guests are very welcome to take tea and coffee outside to enjoy the countryside views. The River Yeo meanders through the valley and wandering the garden are free range chickens which you can watch from your bedroom window. There are sheep on the hills, pheasants and red legged partridge also visit frequently and more recently a woodpecker.
For breakfast there is a full cooked English breakfast with fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, toast, preserves, honey, fruit juice and tea and coffee to help set you up for a day exploring the area. If you would like a packed lunch or light snack you can let Sandra know in advance and will be happy to provide them.
Ample off road parking available on the grounds.
