Retaining the charm and character of the original buildings, the accommodation at Highgate includes luxury Self Catering Cottages and Bed & Breakfast within Highgate House.

The cottages have been converted from the old farm buildings including the byre, the stables, hay and straw barns and the mill but to the highest standard to create luxurious places to stay within the relaxing environment. With oak beams, vaulted ceilings, oak floors and picturesque views you can find the accommodation to suit your needs.

• Orchard Cottage will sleep 6 people within 3 double bedrooms. There is one en-suite room and a family bathroom with power shower over bath. The under floor heating throughout the cottage creates a cosy place to stay with a split level living area with TV and DVD player, fully fitted kitchen and dining room with French windows out onto the terrace.

• Quarry Cottage will sleep 8 within 3 upstairs doubles (1 can be used as a twin) and a downstairs double. Each bedroom has en-suite facilities with bath, power showers and wet room downstairs making this cottage accessible to disabled guests. The living area is on one level and there is a fully fitted kitchen, dining area, cloakroom, sitting area where you can watch the TV and DVD and there is terrace access through French windows with views of the trout pool.

Both of these cottages include under floor heating, bed linen and towels, dishwasher, washer/dryer, ceramic hob, fridge/freezer, microwave oven and iron and ironing board. A cot, high chair and stair gate are also available. Outside there is cycle storage, BBQ, seating and views over the trout pool, lawns and 20 acres of countryside and woodland.

• Rosebank Cottage and Milkstand Cottage will sleep 6 in 2 doubles and a twin/double room each with en-suite facilities in Rosebank Cottage and good quality linen and towels. Milkstand Cottage has one en-suite bedroom and a family bathroom. There's a fully fitted kitchen including deep freeze, fridge, dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, hob, microwave oven, china, glassware, utensils and saucepans. Both the dining area and living area with comfortably seat 6 where you can watch TV (Sky available but please bring your own card) and keep warm with the under floor heating. Cot, highchair and stair gate are available. There's under cover parking available in the barn opposite as well as BBQ and picnic table to help you make the most of the weather.

• Old Stable Cottage and Oak Apple Cottage have been converted from the stables and hay barn. Both sleeping 8, there are four double/twin bedrooms with en-suite facilities and good quality bed linen and towels provided. Cot, highchair and stair gate are available if you need them. The fully fitted kitchens include fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, oven, hob, microwave oven, glassware, china, utensils and saucepans. There's Sky TV (bring your own card), comfortable seating for all and under floor heating throughout. Outside you will find the barbeque, picnic table and undercover parking in the barn opposite.

The Bed & Breakfast accommodation at Highgate is of a high standard with three double rooms spacious enough for an extra single bed and a single room. Each room provides en-suite shower room, TV, hospitality tray and are comfortably furnished with picturesque views. The house is tastefully decorated and still retains the original oak beams throughout and log fires inviting during the cold weather. You can enjoy your breakfast in the dining room made from local produce and homemade preserves. If you have any special dietary requirements just let us know so you can be catered for.

Highgate House has a horse livery where you can bring your horse on holiday with you and enjoy the self catering or bed and breakfast accommodation while your horse stays in the stables with bedding and hay provided in the airy barn, grazing, fresh water and floodlit indoor ménage.
