Tunnels Beaches provides areas to bathe and boating pool or you can take a stroll around the town stopping for refreshments in the cafes and restaurants. You can visit the shops, go fishing or take a trip on the pleasure craft. There's a regular passenger service to Lundy Island during the summer or you can discover the area on foot with Torr walks along the coastal footpath, secluded beaches and Hele Bay with its rock pools and sandy inlets.
Children will enjoy a day out to Watermouth Castle and Theme Park, Combe Martin Wildlife and Dinosaur Park, Ilfracombe Aquarium and The Landmark with theatre, cinema and café bar.

Devon Harbour Cottages each have a high quality 4 star rating offering the perfect places to stay in Ilfracombe just a short stroll to the harbour, pubs and restaurants.
Crab Cottage will sleep 4 within a double and twin room and pets are welcome. Located on Ilfracombe's oldest street the traditional fisherman's cottage has been restored to create a comfortable place to stay with modern facilities. The front door is set above the street opening into the lounge with TV and video player. The kitchen has been refurbished with everything you should need for a perfect self catering holiday including full size cooker, dishwasher, washing machine and dining table.
Upstairs are the bedrooms and bathroom with bath over shower. You can sit outside on the terrace and capture the sea views. All linen and towels are included as are electricity and gas heating. You can park your car in the nearby car park.
If you need any help, the caretaker lives nearby.
The Croft is a larger cottage sleeping up to 8 in two twin and two double bedrooms. The family house has been refurbished and modernised throughout with 2 bathrooms. Ideal for families there's a comfortable lounge with TV, DVD and video player, small music centre and gas fire and a smaller room perfect for the children with games console, TV, Sky Freeview, video and toys and games. There are picturesque views from the main lounge and a compact kitchen with gas cooker, microwave, fridge, washer, dryer and dishwasher. The dining room will comfortably seat all 8 people.
At the half landing is a bathroom with bath, stairs to the first floors double and twin rooms and the second floor with double and twin rooms. The second floor also has a small sitting room with colour TV and video player. All linen and towels are provided but unfortunately pets cannot be accommodated a The Croft. The garden at the back of the house has a small courtyard and sloping lawn. Parking is available in front of The Croft.
