Whether you are looking for the stately homes, Anson Engine Museum, Alton Towers, Chester Zoo or day trips to North Wales, Liverpool and Blackpool, you have the perfect base from which to explore.
Walkers can make the most of Rainow with its footpath network and fishing permits for Errwood Reservoir are available. Errwood Sailing Club offer guest membership for dingy sailing or enjoy some cycling through the hills and country lanes. Overlander Trail Tours offer guided off road motorcycle tours over the green lanes of the Peak District or those interesting in horse riding can stay at the Farm and enjoy 250 acres with no traffic. Birdwatching over the moors, climbing at Windgather Rocks and shooting at Wildboarclough can also be arranged.

Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
Located in the west of the Peak District, Common Barn Farm provides the perfect place to stay to suit a variety of needs whether you are looking for bed and breakfast, self catering, camping or caravanning accommodation.
Both Croft and Meadow Cottages are two storey barn conversions each completed to a very high standard with added luxuries for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The spacious Cottages have lounge and combined kitchen/dining room and bathroom with power shower over bath. Both cottages include under floor heating, bed linen, towels, colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, microwave, patio, garden furniture and ample off road parking.
Croft Cottage has 3 bedrooms: one double, one twin and one bunk while Meadow Cottage will sleep 4 in one double and one twin room. Both of these cottages can be booked together accommodating up to 10 people. If you are bringing young children, cots, high chairs and stair gates are available on request. Unfortunately we are unable to accept pets and there is no smoking throughout.
The Bed and Breakfast accommodation at Common Barn Farm will suit couples, families, individuals and groups. There is wireless broadband access, en-suite bathrooms with power showers (one with wet room ideal for disabled guests) and tea and coffee making facilities in all rooms. In the morning you can set yourself up for the day with a delicious farmhouse breakfast.
