Larry's Lodge is ideally situated in Keswick with just a few minutes walk from Derwentwater, The Theatre by the Lake and Keswick town centre. Overlooking Derwentwater is one of the houses used in the filming of Beatrix Potter where the family stayed. It's not open to the public but possible to see walking past the house. You can take a ferry trip from the landings in Keswick to Nicole End Marina.

At Junction 40, take the A66 heading west to Keswick (21 miles). Turn off at the first exit for Windermere and Keswick on the A591. After a short time there's a junction for the A591 for Windermere and Keswick and you should see KESWICK made from shrubs – turn right here. Continue down the hill with the Twa Dogs pub on your left. Go past the filling station, under the railway bridge and past the fire and ambulance stations. After ¼ mile you'll see The Conservative Club on the left, turn left onto Greta Street. Continue across Blencathra Street and past the taxi rank (on your right), over the next junction and you'll see a laundrette – you are on Eskin Street. Look out for the telephone box on your left and Larry's Lodge is opposite on your right.
Free parking is available on the street outside.

Larry's Lodge guest accommodation in Keswick is a late 19th Century Cumbrian slate built guest house with modern conveniences to help you make the most of your stay.
Each bedroom has en-suite facilities and single room with shower and private bathroom. There is central heating throughout, double glazing, colour TV, radio alarm clock and tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. The bedrooms were named after puppies raised by us for the Guide Dogs for the Blind and include:
• Folly's Fold – twin en-suite on first floor
• Arthur's Ark – double en-suite on first floor
• Pammy's Pantry – single on first floor with separate shower room and private bathroom on the landing
• Lassie's Lair – double en-suite on second floor
• Bab's Battery – twin en-suite on second floor
Breakfast is included in the cost of the room with choice of Full English breakfast or vegetarian alternative with toast made from homemade bread. If you have any special dietary requirements, just let us know and we'll be happy to cater for it.
Other facilities at Larry's Lodge include drying facilities for wet boots and wet clothes. There is free on street parking and dogs are welcome by arrangement.
