Originally a coach house, Ilex Cottage Bed & Breakfast has been refurbished to a very high standard retaining much of the character and charm of the original building. To welcome guests we offer complimentary refreshments served in the conservatory on arrival.

The three guest bedrooms are spacious with picturesque views and choice of double, twin or family room. Each room includes en-suite facilities, with shower, face cloth, towels and toiletries, comfortable chairs, colour TV, radio, hairdryer, luggage racks, razor points and tea and coffee making facilities. There's plenty of storage with wardrobe and check of drawers and bed lights, luxury mattresses and fine percale linen to help you have a relaxing sleep. The Bed & Breakfast has central heating throughout with separate fan heaters and enough space in each room for a cot.

The informal dining room provides a cosy atmosphere with peach colour scheme and east facing to catch the morning sun. Breakfast from the self service includes cereals, fresh fruit, juice, toast/fresh rolls and homemade quality preserves. From 8am to 9:30am Full English breakfasts are prepared to order with thick sliced grilled back bacon, home grown or local oven baked tomato, fresh local mushrooms, premium pork sausages and large fresh free range eggs – scrambled, poached or boiled. Vegetarian, vegan, diabetic and low fat alternatives are usually available.

Popular with walkers and cyclists, packed lunches are available with your choice of freshly made sandwiches, a sweet and savoury bite, fresh fruit and carton of orange.

The guest lounge is a Georgian style conservatory which guests are welcome to use at any time. There are views overlooking the paddock and fields and comfortable seating providing an area to relax and enjoy refreshments.

Wireless broadband is available throughout the B&B including some of the garden which guests are free to use.
