• Afton Thatch Cottage has been awarded 4 stars providing high quality self catering accommodation in the Isle of Wight. Sleeping 6-11 the cottage is available all year round for weeks, short breaks and weekends.

There are 3 bedrooms: a master en-suite with king size bed, a second room with double and single bed and the third room is suitable for children with 2 single beds and 'over and under' bunk bed. There is also a separate bathroom.

Downstairs there is an eat-in kitchen with Aga, utility room with washing machine and drier, two sitting rooms – one with a stone fireplace and the other with a woodstove. The second sitting room includes TV, small study, cloak room and a sofa bed which can be used as the fourth bedroom. High speed WiFi internet access is available in the cottage and well behaved dogs are very welcome.

Tastefully decorated, Afton Thatch Cottage features antiques, handmade and upholstered furniture and oak beams. There are river views and views of open fields within this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The professionally landscaped garden offers and enclosed lawn, summerhouse with table football, small orchard with hammock and a trampoline.

• Afton Thatch Lodge is a small detached holiday cottage within Afton Thatch grounds. It is accessed by the shared drive and entered through 3 French doors facing east which have picturesque sunrise views.

The lodge is perfect for couples with children or guests with open plan master bedroom with en-suite facilities including deep double ended roll top bath. There are 2 over and under occasional day beds on the ground floor sleeping 4 if needed and can be made up on request.

The kitchen is equipped with two burner deluxe gas hob, microwave with a conventional oven, toaster and kettle. You can unwind in the living room with large TV with surround speakers, VCR and CD player and central heating throughout the lodge.

• Old Coastguard's is a recently refurbished cottage restored to the highest standard. Furnished and styled similarly to Afton Thatch Lodge, there is access to 'the Lookout', a two room cottage with bunk beds and sofa bed from which coastguards would watch for smugglers on Alum Bay.

Situated on Old Alum Bay Road it is ideally located between Tennyson Down and Headon Warren it is perfect for those looking for a walking holiday in the Isle of Wight. It's just a short walk to Alum Bay with view of the Needles.

Sleeping 2-4 there are three bedrooms: a king size master double, a smaller single room and third is a sofa bed in the living room. Guests or children can sleep in the bunks in the Lookout Cottage too. The kitchen is well equipped with deluxe five gas hob range with electric oven and plenty of fridge space.
