The area is rich in floral, marine, wildlife and birdlife and is home to seals, otters and bottlenose dolphins. RAF Lossiemouth opened in 1939 and the historic harbour has working boats and leisure craft.
For historical and architectural interest, Duffus Castle, Englin Cathedral, Gordonstoun and Spynie Palace are all close by.

Ceilidh Bed & Breakfast is a modernised family home offering a warm welcome to all guests. The B&B has been adapted and is deaf aware and provides wheel chair access.
The bedrooms at Ceilidh B&B in Lossiemouth include one double, one twin and two single rooms. Each of them rooms have been decorated to a high standard in soft relaxing colours with en-suite facilities, remote control TV, complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, black out blinds for the long summer days, personal care dispensers, central heating, private car park, smoke detectors, hairdryers and double glazing.
The ground floor single bedrooms has disabled access level 1, wheelchair friendly with direct access from the car park, low level switches and bed lever available.
Breakfast is served weekdays 7:30-8:30am and 8-9am at weekends. French doors open out onto the front garden with ramped exit to the front of the house.
