Outdoors, guests can stroll or cycle through the breathtaking countryside surrounding the park. A landscape for all seasons, with always something to see and do, and our adventure playgrounds provide hours of fun for children of all ages.

Close to the pool area it is ideal for a daytime drink or in the evening why not sit out on the adjoining balcony...or why not share a family meal in our superb restaurant, relax over a drink in our lounge bar or simply enjoy the panoramic view of Morecambe Bay and Grange-over-Sands from the terrace.

From November 7th 2005 a no smoking policy applies to all buildings at Holgates, including the bar.

At Holgates, we've thought of everything, so you don't have to! A small, well-stocked supermarket, laundrette, and games area complete with pool table, video games and softplay area. There are also two adventure playgrounds with swings, sandpit and climbing frames to keep the children occupied outside, with ample space for family ball games.

Greenfold cottages have recently been converted from ancient farm buildings in the heart of Yealand Redmayne, a pretty little place only 30 minutes from the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Careful attention has been paid to detail, with architectural features preserved and thoughtful touches such as a garden swing placed just at the best spot in the garden to enjoy the view. Each cottage is unique and spacious, with plenty of room for a family to relax and each has an outdoor patio with garden furniture. A communal barbecue at the bottom of the gardens is perfect for a summer evening after a day spent exploring the stunning coast and countryside around the area.

Orchard View is a very special find, a true home from home in the idyllically pretty village of Silverdale, right in the middle of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. You can truly live like a local here, surrounded by your very own huge garden that gives you complete privacy and tranquility. Just 100 metres away from the shore and surrounded by ancient woodland, you are also just a short stroll from the centre of the village, and from Middlebarrow holiday park with its luxurious leisure centre.

Netherbeck is a small park on the outskirts of Carnforth, Lancs with 45 privately owned caravan holiday homes.
Bay View in Bolton-le-Sands, is Holgates' latest venture. Set to rival Middlebarrow with its luxurious facilities, it has just reached the end of phase one of the development plans. This of course means that it is the perfect time to buy a holiday home as the cost of a property will understandably rise when the park is completed. In the meantime, guests are welcome to use the facilities at Middlebarrow. With fields that run down to the shore, there is plenty of room for touring caravans and tents - you can even book your pitch for the whole season.
A friendly site, Hollins Farm lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between two of North Lancashire's most picturesque coastal villages, Silverdale and Arnside. With chickens clucking around and goats bleating in the field, it truly is a place to get away from it all. You can walk for miles along the coast, enjoying the dramatic views of Morecambe Bay with the towering mountains of the Lake District at the other side. It is just a 5 minute walk across a field to reach our flagship Middlebarrow park, where you are welcome to use our leisure facilities, bar and restaurant.
