Directions
Ambleside one way system - take signs for Keswick
Pass church on left, up Compston Road to lights at the top. Turn right (back to Windermere) through lights (pedestrian) then second left at Barclays bank (very narrow opening) bear left up the hill to Stockghyll Falls.
Carry on to private road sign and onto the farm at first cattle grid. Pass white bungalow (second grid) and pass Low Grove House and up the hill to the top.

Little Grove Ambleside Cottage
This beautiful cottage for 2 is extremely popular with our visitors returning year after year and throughout the seasons.
Grove Corner Ambleside Cottage
Our new cottage is called 'Grove Corner' which accommodates 2+ people. We are very pleased with the 5 Star Quality which our local craftsmen have achieved.
Middle Grove Ambleside Cottage
Our first creation completed in 1993, and was converted with great care, as our other cottages,to preserve the wonderful atmosphere that this beautiful traditional Lakeland barn possesses,extremely comfortable for 4 people, again with many of our families returning year after year.
High Grove Ambleside Cottage
Our larger cottage which sleeps 4+ was built (as our other cottages) by local craftsmen to a very high standard, tremendous care having been taken with every aspect, for you to enjoy one of the highest quality cottages in the lake district.

;) High Grove: This is our larger cottage finished in 1997. It is at the end of the stone barn with all the wealth of original timbers and exposed stone preserved for you to enjoy. |
;) This little gem was created in 1994, on the upper level of our Lakeland stone barn. A wealth of lovely Cumbrian slate and original timbers keep a country atmosphere in this cosy cottage for two. |
