The village of Tayvallich is 11 miles (or 20 minutes) from the local town of Lochgilphead, 40 miles from Oban, and 95 miles from Glasgow. From the South (Glasgow), take the M8 (West) to the Erskine Bridge turn-off (M898). Once over the bridge, take the exit on the left (sign-posted Crianlarich). You are now on the A82. Stay on this road until you reach Tarbet (about 30 miles). At Tarbet, carry straight on (the road becomes the A83), and follow this road all the way to Lochgilphead (about 50 miles). Once in Lochgilphead, carry on through the town on the shore side, and at the last roundabout, turn right (A816), and after about 2 miles, take the left turn onto the B841 (Cairnbaan). Carry on along the canal-side for a further four miles or so, until you reach a turn-off on your left (B8025 - signposted Tayvallich). Now follow this road for about 6miles until you reach the village. Ardtornish has a clear sign and is adjacent to the Tayvallich Inn, and little Keills is 5 miles farther along the same road.

In the heart of the village of Tayvallich (near Lochgilphead and on the waterfront with stunning views over the Bay, Coal Scotnish and the head of Loch Sween. Ardtornish is considered a four star property by the Scottish Tourist Board and is a light, bright & airy house. Five miles (or ten minutes) away, we have a small guest house that is the perfect place to get away from the world! On the hill side at the end of the peninsula, Little Keills enjoys breath-taking sea views, and is also a four star STB property.
