Directions
From the M5 - shortly after Exeter - join the A30. Approaching Newquay on the A30 turn off right to RAF St. Mawgan, continue on this road, you will come to a roundabout - go straight on towards Newquay. After 2 miles take the turning on the right signposted to Mawgan Porth. You will pass the entrance to the Airport on your left, continue on this road and you will come to a junction - take the right turning. You will drive down to Mawgan Porth, go past the beach and up the hill and you will come to a hairpin bend to the left with a turning on the right signposted St Eval, take this turning and 500 yards along this road on the right you will see the sign for Merlin Farm.

Mawgan Porth is an ideal resort to base your holiday in Cornwall. Merlin Farm Holiday Cottages gives close access to a range of activities in stunning locations. Mawgan porth is close to Surfing Beaches, it's own and those in Newquay and Watergate Bay, Golf, The Eden Project, plus many more, all attracting huge interest from all walks of life. Cornwall enjoy's Britain's best climate with warm sunny springs and tropical like summers. Mild Autumn's make it an ideal venue for out of season breaks. There are also 300 miles of coastal paths maintained by the National Trust, available to walk all year round, relaxation for all those who choose it as a holiday destination.
Our Beautifully converted barn accommodation at Merlin Farm is in the perfect location for the perfect holiday. We are located at Mawgan Porth, just off the coastal road halfway between Newquay and Padstow. The Farm (non working) is at the end of a private drive surrounded in 27 acres of beautiful countryside overlooking the valley of Mawgan Porth.
A tranquil and relaxing holiday and yet a fun seaside holiday with Mawgan Porth Beach just a 10 minute walk away.
Our accommodation comprises of a spacious barn with 3 bedrooms and sleeping 2 to 10 persons plus 2 cots. The Stable, an open plan studio with a Victorian brass and Iron double bed, is perfect as a romantic retreat. Originally 18th century traditional Cornish grain barns, they have been beautifully decorated and furnished in classic country style with all the modern comforts.
For golf lovers, an 18 hole golf course and fishing lakes are adjacent to the farm. There are many beautiful countryside and coastal walks direct from the farm, and for those seeking a more lively holiday, the bustling town of Newquay is just a 15 minute drive away offering more beaches and a large selection of Restaurants. The Old Cornish fishing town of Padstow is 15 minutes drive away where you will find Rick Steins World Renowned Seafood Restaurant and the famous Biomes at The Eden Project a 30 minute drive away. Merlin Farm is an ideal base for all your Cornish sightseeing.
