From the M5 - shortly after Exeter - join the A30. Approaching Newquay on the A30 turn off right to RAF St. Mawgan, continue on this road, you will come to a roundabout – go straight on towards Newquay. Continue on this road until you come to a junction, take the right turning. Continue on this road until you come to a double roundabout, take the 2nd exit on the 1st Roundabout sign posted to Porth. Go down a hill, past the Beach on your left, up the hill 500 metres and The Gull Rock is on the right.

It is a paradise for children with caves and rock pools where they can explore all day. To the right, a short walk and visible from the hotel is 'Porth Beach', with its flat protected waters it is ideal for swimming and first attempts at surfing. To the left, a short journey by car or pleasant walk is 'Watergate Bay', one of the surf centres of Europe, with its golden sands and magnificent waves.
