Self Catering Cottage/Home/Apartment Description
The Stationmaster's House is exactly as the name would suggest and steeped in the character and history befitting of such title.
The unique layout, additions and extensions over the years make it deceptively spacious. With a master double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms on the first floor and another twin room on the ground floor, it sleeps up to 8 in comfort and possibly 10 with a little imagination.
The kitchen, interestingly having two windows directly overlooking the Lincolnshire Wolds Railway Station, is supplied with all the pots, pans and utensils you could wish for in a self-catering property! Together with a real log fire in one lounge, patio doors and a dining area in the other, central heating throughout, and two bathrooms - the lack of home comforts is not an issue!
Our Railway Carriages - Audrey, Cygnus and Ibis - are romantically named after carriages on the Orient Express.
Timber flooring and beautiful brass fittings complement the warm brown and cream decor, giving a cosy, quaint yet modern ambience.
Centrally heated throughout, a comfortable lounge area with stylish leather corner suite and satellite TV, a dining area with oak table and leather chairs, fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave and integrated fridge, fully fitted bedrooms with colour co-ordinated bed-linen, a shower room with power shower, decking area with table and benches - all designed to ensure a peaceful haven for the more demanding holidaymaker.
A most unusual accommodation style rarely available!
Hire 1,2,3 or all 4 of our properties to suit the size of your group.
