All rooms are ensuite (toilet/shower/washbasin etc.) non-smoking and the cost is inclusive of full English breakfast and all local taxes (UK vat @17.5%).
A credit card is required to secure any booking made by either telephone or email. We accept Visa, Mastercard and JCB although on departure you may wish to pay by cheque supported by an appropriate guarantee card or by cash. If you would therefore like to secure this room then we will require you to forward your credit card details (Visa/Mastercard/JCB) as soon as it is convenient for you to do so.
Please note that we do operate a 24 hour cancellation notification policy i.e. reservations must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance of your arrival date. In case of a \"no show\" or a room cancelled giving us less than the 24 hours notice period then the full charge for the first night of your accommodation will be made.

Hunters Lodge is located in a quiet residential district yet within easy accessibility of the city centre. Our double fronted Victorian house retains many original features which are enhanced by the furnishing styles within the public areas. Built in 1900 Hunters Lodge has operated as a hotel, guest house and bed & breakfast providing accommodation since 1926 and was extended to its present size in the 1970\'s and late1980\'s.
There is a spacious dining room and a lounge with a licensed residents bar. Our lounge and bar area creates a warm and friendly atmosphere for you to enjoy a drink, view television or just simply relax with a good book. Our bedrooms are comfortable and well equipped and the dining room awaits you in the morning for a complete and hearty breakfast.
Within the locality there are a variety of many fine restaurants, cafes and bars available for your evening meals and catering for all tastes. Southampton also has a variety of galleries, cinemas, music venues, theatres and nightlife for your enjoyment whilst you are here.
The city centre is only a short walking distance away (1.4Km) and local transport is both frequent and accessible. Southampton Central railway station and the National Express coach staition are both 0.8Km and 1Km away from us respectively with the ferry, docks and cruise terminals being about 2Km away and all can be easily reached by car or taxi within 10 minutes from Hunters Lodge.
