How To Find Us:-
From North on M6 Motorway Exit at Junction 36, onto A65 to “Kirkby Lonsdale“, go past “Kirkby Lonsdale“, and” Devils Bridge” on your Left as you leave, through “Cowan Bridge” & “Leck” on A65, to “Ireby” where you will see the Signpost to “Burton-in-Lonsdale“, it's a narrow Country Road and as you pass over the second Small Bridge you will see our Magnificent Church Spire in the centre distance, on reaching the Village, bear Right At The Fork and travel through the Village, just after the Village Shop and Post Office on your Right, Turn Left Down “Chapel Lane“, We're on the Laft at the Bottom of the Steep Hill, just (before) going accross the Bridge over the River Greta.
Or:- Go past “Kirkby Lonsdale” and immediately after passing “Devils Bridge” on your Left, Turn Right onto the A683 signposted To “Lancaster,” Turning Left just after “Tunstall” onto the A687 to “Burton-in-Lonsdale“, and just after entering our Village, you will pass our “Historic Earthworks Fort” and “Magnificent Church” on your Right, take the next Right Turn after the Church, down “Chapel Lane“, River Cottage is the Last House on your Left at the Bottom Of The Hill, (before) going over the Bridge
From South Yorkshire on the A65:- Turn left just after the “Masons Arms” at “Ingleton“, (Signposted to “High Bentham“) and follow the signs to “Burton-in-Lonsdale” where you will arrive at a Tee Junction with The Bridge on your Right, Turn Right (Very Carefully) and travel across the Bridge and we are the First House On The Right over the Bridge.
Or:- From South Yorkshire on the A65:- Turn Left just after The “Country Harvest” (Restaurant and Gifts) onto the A687 To Lancaster, and follow the Signs to “Burton-in-Lonsdale,” at Burton-in-Lonsdale, Turn Left just after the Village Shop and Post Office, down “Chapel Lane“, we're the Last House On The Left at the Bottom Of The Hill, just (before) crossing The Bridge.

We are 5 Miles from the Historic Market Town of Kirkby Lonsdale, where you can take in the spectacular Devils Bridge, and Ruskin's View, or browse the many interesting shops and galleries in the Town Centre, or travel twenty minutes further and your in the Lake District with all its varied natural beauty and lake cruises, alternatively visit the charming Dales Town of Ingleton only 2 Miles away with its award winning outdoor heated swimming pool and many interesting features including the Waterfalls Walk and Caves, or for those more energetic there are the Three Peaks to walk, Ingleborough, Wherneside, and Pen y Ghent, or a step further from Ingleton and your in the delightful Village of Hawes or the cobbled Village of Dent , or the market town of Settle where you can take the Settle to Carlisle Rail Line, or Skipton with its Historic Castle, nearer home we have The Forrest Of Bowland only three miles away and the many interesting geological and historic attractions of the Bentham Area only 1 Mile away along with its Golf Course and good selection of interesting shops and places to eat, or perhaps you would like to spend a little time fishing on our local rivers, or Canoeing the Rapids, water levels permitting.
