Hotel Description
Trotternish is an area of considerable natural beauty and holds some of the most spectacular land formations in the British Isles from the Old Man of Storr to the magical assemblage of pinnacles known as the Quiraing.
One of the finest examples of traditional croft architecture, this house was built by a local merchant as a home and village shop and used as such for many years. Indeed, the local "bodachs" (old men) still remember when, as boys, they helped bring up the supplies landed by the Glasgow steamer in the bay below the Hotel.
We welcome pets as long as they are well behaved and, since we love them so much, we don't even make any additional charge for them - unless they misbehave!
