Gwern Borter Manor Holiday Farm not only offers Bed and Breakfast accommodation but has 8 self catering cottages available which will sleep between 2 and 8 people. The Manor itself has retained the charm and character of the original Victorian building and is the perfect rural retreat for those looking for relaxation and serenity. The oak entrance hall has a traditional collection of paintings and the homely atmosphere ensures guests feel welcome. We don't allow children under 5 or pets in the Manor but the self catering cottages do with pets accepted as long as they are well behaved and we ask they are kept off the furniture and on leads.

The whole family can enjoy a fantastic holiday at Gwern Borter with the range of facilities we have to offer. We have Horse Riding available exclusively for guests whether a beginner or expert, children and adults of any ability can have a sit on a horse, lessons or even just join in with grooming and feeding. Not only that, there's a children's play area and pets corner where you can feed the ducks, geese and goats. We have bikes and skateboards available for hire with the money donated to local charities and a games room where you can enjoy a game of pool. Our gym is available night a day with a great selection of equipment and there's a sauna to help you unwind.

Each of the 8 self catering farm buildings were converted and decorated to the highest standard with each receiving 4 star ratings. They all have modern facilities such as Sky TV, video player, CD player, patio seating area and free to use barbeque. The only things guests are required to bring are towels but everything you need for a successful self catering holiday should be available.

Maple Cottage is perfect for large families and groups sleeping 8 in two double and 2 twin rooms. Gamekeepers Cottage can sleep 6 in 2 doubles and a twin room with back door opening out onto the herb garden. Oak and Ash Cottages will each sleep 4 in a double and twin and can be used separately to each other or linked with the doors downstairs joining the cottages. Grooms and Farriers Cottages are great for families sleeping 4 in a double and bunk bed. All the cottages above open out onto a safe area for children to play with bikes and skateboards. You may prefer just a quiet self catering holiday so Stable and Grannery Cottages, sleeping 2, would be perfect as they are furthest from the activities and more suited to couples because of the spiral staircase which may be tricky for the elderly or those with babies.
