Cullen, situated on the main A98 coast road in the picturesque Moray Coast, is an excellent base for touring the beautiful Moray and Banffshire coast, Speyside and the whisky trail. With interesting shops, the blue flag beach, coastal trail and Cullen's unique cliff and links golf course, (there are a further 30 courses within a one-hour drive) you will sure to find something which will make your visit worthwhile.
There are various places of interest near Cullen and Baxters of Speyside is located about 14 miles away just outside Fochabers, and is a very good day out. If the weather is not quite as good as usual, you can enjoy a good day out and have lunch in the restaurant.
If you continue on into Elgin you can visit Johnstons of Elgin and not only watch the audio visual presentation about the history of cashmere, but enjoy a mill tour or browse in the shop discovering, for all the family, the wide range of products which are manufactured from luxury fibres. Ballindalloch Castle is open 6 days a week and is about an hour's drive south of Cullen in the Spey valley. You can enjoy a tour of the castle or the gardens. A recent addition is the golf course which opened earlier this year. There is a shop and tea rooms and you can get more information from their site at www.ballindallochcastle.co.uk.
There are various National Trust for Scotland properties nearby, at least six castles in the Grampian region, and further details can be had from the website www.nts.org.uk
The Whisky Tour includes visits to many of the distilleries in the area and Cullen is well situated to provide a convenient base. Further information can be obtained from www.glenfarclas.co.uk or any of the other distilleries.

Norwood is open all year round and offers very comfortable accommodation with central heating, tea making facilities and television in all bedrooms.
The guest house is warm and inviting and you can be be assured of a friendly welcome when you come to visit. There is secure parking for 3 cars in addition to on-street parking.
The dining room has been completely refurbished and provides spacious and bright accommodation. The breakfast and dinner menus include fresh local produce and fruit from the garden in season.
There is a comfortable sitting room with a large selection of books on many subjects for guests to peruse. Information on both local history and local activities is also available. We now have a selection of local artists' work on display in the public rooms and some of these paintings are for sale.
