The Northumberland House is a 5 star self catering holiday cottage with each of the 6 bedrooms decorated to the highest standard winning the house a Gold Award.

In the sitting room there are three four seater sofas, Jotul log burning stove in a stone fireplace, Amoire with logs and a huge coffee table. To keep you entertained there is a TV, DVD and video recorder or you can just relax with a newspaper, magazine or book from the house.

The family room is open plan and very large with three sofas, corner Faber gas fire, coffee table, digital TV, DVD and CD player. You can watch the sun rise through the French doors as you sit at the breakfast table.

The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need for a perfect self catering holiday in Northumberland. There are solid pine, granite worktops, induction hob, steam oven, twin full size ovens, twin dishwashers, twin fridge freezers, all the cutlery, glasses, crockery, tableware and pans you will need, 4 slice toaster, food processor, bread maker, electric mixer, electric kettle plus additional extras like 4 cafetieres, 3 wine coolers and a hamper to welcome you to The Northumberland House.

The 22 foot Garden Room is south facing with hand built roof trusses and French doors opening out onto the terrace with pond and water tree. Everyone can sit round the 14' dining table which is ideal for dinner parties, Christmas lunches and family breakfasts. There are table mats, salt and pepper grinders, sugar bowls, candles and cake stands. If you are unsure of what to see and do in Northumberland, there are maps, brochures and lots of local information to help inspire you.

The 6 en-suite king size double bedrooms each include cotton towels, robes, crisp white bedding, hairdryer, soap, cotton buds, sewing kit, manicure set and shower gel. There is a double bedroom with a waterbed and en-suite with double ended bath, twin wash basins and separate walk in shower, two double rooms with en-suite shower rooms, a west facing room with zip and link beds so it can be used as a double or twin room with en-suite shower room and a large double with sloping ceiling and Velux window with east sea views. This room has an en-suite bathroom with double ended bath, twin washbasins and separate shower.

The Northumberland House is heated on the first two stone floors by under floor heating individually controllable. There is an eco friendly heat recovery system providing heated fresh air to all floors. No smoking or pets are allowed to keep the house low in allergens. Secure, there is a burglar alarm, outside security lighting, fire and smoke detection system, fire doors and smoke seals with emergency lighting system on the stairs.

Outdoors there is ample parking for at least 6 vehicles. The south facing garden has feature rocks, eating area with plenty of seating so everyone can enjoy a barbeque. A copper water tree is set in the middle of a pond on the edge of the terrace. There is also an easy walk to Sugar Sands Beach which is a local secret and not signposted.
