Pony trekking, hill walking and fishing are popular pastimes amongst the many mountains, lochs and rivers in this area.
If a round of golf or a days skiing is your preference then an hours drive north on the A9 the famous links course at Royal Dornoch is a must or head south approximately thirty minutes drive and you reach Aviemore nestled amongst the Cairngorms where during the winter months the ski slopes can be an enjoyable experience.
