From Surf View the surrounding area offers a range of activities and attractions within easy reach. Guests can take a 15 minute walk down to Woolacombe Bay with 2 miles of golden beaches with blue flag status or further out to Barricane, Combesgate and Grunta Cove. For those that enjoy walking you can follow the coastal path or there's surfing with wetsuit hire, sailing, fishing, go karting, bowling, cycle hire, the Tarka Trail, boating and Exmoor Zoo.
Lundy Island can be viewed from Surf View perfectly on a clear day and lies just off the coast of North Devon. From there, not only is the area one of Outstanding Natural Beauty but has scenic views of England, Wales and the Atlantic Sea.
Just 30 minutes away by car, Arlington Court is a National Trust Regency house with a remarkable collection of horse drawn carriages. Clovelly is also an impressive village with a lot of history and found an hour from Surf View, doesn't allow cars through the steep cobbled streets.
Close to Surf View are the Woolacombe Riding Stables and The Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park. Guests can purchase a club pass and make use of the park facilities with bar meals served between 6pm and 9pm.

Take the third exit on the M5 at Junction 27 following the A361 to Barnstaple. Head towards Ilfracombe and continue on the dual carriageway to Braunton and Mullacott Cross roundabout. Take the first exit to Woolacombe where you will find the Woolacombe Sands Holiday Park so pass the entrance and drive up the narrow lane sign posted 'Riding Stables' where you will find Surf View on your left.
