Anglesey Walking Holidays provide people of various ages and abilities the chance to discover what the Isle of Anglesey has to offer along 95% of its 125 miles of coastline. The isle is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty offering you the chance to see the rugged cliffs, sand dunes, rock formations and a variety of local wildlife along the way.

There are 12 different walks available ranging from 7 ½ miles (12km) to 14 miles (22km) each with their own ability level: easy, moderate or strenuous so whether you are a hiker or just looking for a leisurely walk you can find the one that will best suit you. There is also no restriction on the number you can try whether you are just looking for a short break or here for a fortnight there are packages which include accommodation and itinerary to fill your days with the chance to see the best of Anglesey.

At Anglesey Walking Holidays we have a team of experts that will help you plan your stay from pre-booking accommodation, picking you up and collecting you from your selected walk even if you cut it short, transfer luggage from one accommodation to another, provide you with OS maps with routes clearly marked, route planners, advice on the tides, information on the area, places to eat and alternative routes. We ensure you receive a personal service so you can make the most of your stay. Your car can be safely left with us so you don't have to worry about leaving it in an isolated area.

The accommodation can vary from a B&B or Guest House and even Hotel or Inn. Prices are usually around £50 pppn for two people sharing a double or twin room and we always try to get you an en-suite. Of course we'd be happy to help with something more luxurious if you prefer and have a larger budget. A full Welsh or Continental breakfast is included in the price which will help set you up for the day and some provide evening meals but there is a good selection available with restaurants and bars in nearby villages and towns. Packed lunches are not included but can be arranged or bought from nearby shops. If your chosen walk takes you to another accommodation you will find your luggage waiting for you so all you need to carry with you is a light backpack with all you need during the day.

We provide information packs for all our visitors including: OS Aqua maps with coastal routes clearly marked, daily itinerary with local and historical information, town plans or directions to your accommodation, recommendations of places to enjoy an evening meal, get a drink or stop for lunch, list of banks, telephones and post offices and information on what to do in an emergency and contact information.

We recommend that you do bring walking boots, gaiters and socks, backpack for snacks and lunches, waterproofs, hat, sun cream, first aid kit, walking stick on a couple of the walks, and to capture the best of the area, binoculars and camera. If you plan on visiting the museums, castles, sea zoo, boat trips or farms there will be entrance fees.

The Anglesey coastline is diverse with over 70 sites of archaeological interest where you can see the remains of Iron Age forts and churches. Three of the walks cross through nature reserves and others, historical landmarks. The area is popular with bird watchers with the variety of cormorants, puffins and guillemots and Geologists too can discover the variety of rocks with Parys Mountain Copper Mine close to one walk.

If you'd prefer to sight see a shorter walk may be of more interest to you and there are lots of things to do here: visit a stately home, museum, visitors centre, lighthouse, historic site, riding centre, working farm open to the public or our Sea Zoo. The beaches may be more your thing to relax and unwind and many are popular because of their cleanliness. There are Blue Flag Beaches at Llanddwyn, Benllech, Llanddona, Trearddur Bay, Porth Dafarch and Aberffraw and many others with Yellow Flags.
