Set in 3,100 acres, Rutland Water is the largest lowland man made lake in Western Europe. Voted "The Best Cycling Day Out In Britain..." ....the Sunday Express Magazine, Rutland Cycling has one of the most impressive ranges of bikes to hire and buy anywhere in the world.
There are three shops situated on the shore of two reservoirs. Two of the shops are at Rutland Water and one at Grafham Water near Huntingdon. The Whitwell shop at Rutland is one of the biggest cycle shops in the UK at over 11,000 sq ft in size!
With Europe's Premier Demo fleet, we offer customers the chance to demo ride prestige bikes, valued up to £3000! Are you looking for a bargain? The demo/hire fleet cycles are changed at least once per season and are available to purchase all year round. The staff are all friendly and extremely knowledgeable and will give you the correct advice on choosing the right bike for you after establishing your needs.
If you wish to test ride a bike with a view to buying one then hire the bike for 2 hours and if you buy one, we will refund your hire charge! You can test as many bikes as you like until you find the correct one and with the large fleet of test bikes it can take a long time!
