Its present owners, Carl and Lisa Butler sympathetically refurbished the pub in 2004 and built the Hatton Restaurant to the rear.
The pub is now know for providing excellent food and fine wines in a relaxed, welcoming and cosy environment. Up to six well kept real ales can be served including the local Great Oakley Brewery ales, Marston's Pedigree and changing guest ales - often from local breweries.
