Freedom Tickets:
Freedom tickets are valid for 24 hours from time of purchase and are valid on all of Windermere Lake Cruises scheduled sailings. Tickets available from Bowness, Lakeside and Ambleside.
Islands Cruises:
A delightful 45 minute sightseeing tour from Bowness Bay to include the magnificent mountain scenery, lovely secluded bays and shore line and inevitably the many wooded islands around the central parts of the lake. A special one hour version of this cruise is available for the exclusive use of private parties.
Sailings Between Lakeside and Bowness:
Your journey can start at either Lakeside or Bowness and takes 40 minutes in each direction with the opportunity to break your journey and return on any later Windermere Lake Cruises scheduled vessel.
Sailings Between Bowness and Ambleside:
Your journey can start at either Bowness or Ambleside and takes 30 minutes in each direction with the opportunity to break your journey and return on any later Windermere Lake Cruises scheduled vessel.
Sailings Between Brockhole and Ambleside:
Visit Brockhole on our hourly service by traditional launch, and find out more about the National Park at the Lake District Visitor Centre. Departing quarter to the hour from Ambleside. 19 March to 30 October 2005.
Sailings Between Bowness and Ferry House:
Operates a service between Bowness and Ferry House between 19th March to 30 October 2005 providing access to the opposite side of the lake for walkers and visitors to Hill Top.
Sailings Between Lakeside and Fell Foot:
Operated daily from 19 March to 28 September. This services provides access to Fell Foot National Park from Lakeside and vice versa.
Private Sailings:
Any of the vessels operated by Windermere Lake Cruises can be chartered for private functions, wedding receptions etc throughout the year.
