Thanks for your comments - I wrote this review some time ago (3.5 years ago to be precise), and I had forgotten all about it !
Looking back now, I stand by my comments at the time, but having visited Jongleurs several times since, my review would not be quite so glowing now. I agree with you that there is now a younger element that can create an uncomfortable atmosphere post comedy, although the shows themselves are still very good (look out for Tony Gerrard - he is great !!)
I am also flattered by your comment that you thought 'only a member of staff could write so much information'. This is, and never was the case - I just like to include as much detailed information as I can to assist others in making the decision as to whether they would like to visit the venue - check out my other reviews (such as Portsmouth Greyhound Stadium) for more in-depth reviews ;o) |
