UK REGION GUIDE

Find things to do in this Region
Lincolnshire provides a mixture of fens and wolds for the visitor to explore and plays host to a rich variety of flora and fauna. Derbyshire on the other hand gives the walker a rougher terrain and is home to walks which include the stunning Dovedale valley. The American Adventure theme park provide plenty of action as does Fantasy Island which boasts, 'The Odyssey' a ride claimed to have the steepest drop in Europe.

There is a wealth of attractions, cathedrals, stately homes and museums in the area. Lincoln Cathedral is huge, while Fountains Abbey is set in unforgettable grounds. Chatsworth House is magnificent throughout and probably the best of its type in Britain. Derby is full of tradition and famous for its Royal Crown Derby and Derby Cathedral with its second highest church tower in England. Northampton, England's largest town still has one of the largest open air markets in the country and is ideal for shopping.

Butlins at Skegness provides the perfect holiday park for families for all round entertainment. Nottingham is a friendly and lively city as well as being one of the most entertaining. In contrast, the Peak District is ideal for peace and quiet in one of Britain's most popular National Parks.
